SENIORS TENNIS ASSOCIATION OF THE NORTH SHORE, INC 1988 (STANS) is an association registered and operated under the Society Act of British Columbia. Established with the purpose of promoting life enjoyment by meeting and playing tennis with other seniors 55 years and older.

MEMBERSHIP FEE: $20.00

The membership fee is good until December 31 the year of application. An Active STANS membership provides for:

• Automatic registration as a member of the North Vancouver Tennis Society and Tennis BC.

• Participation in all STANS activities which includes play on outside STANS reserved courts

  • Some activities may require an additional entry fee if you choose to participate

• Being listed on and receiving a STANS membership list for the purpose of organizing games

• Attending and voting at all General Meetings

I, the applicant, on behalf of myself, member of my family, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, without limitation, agree that the Senior Tennis Association of the North Shore, their representatives and agents (collectively ‘STANS’), regardless of negligence or alleged negligence by STANS on the part of the applicant, shall not be liable for and hereby forever release, discharge and hold harmless STANS any connection with taking part in or travelling to functions, activities or any other programs organized by STANS.
Players shall at all times conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. STANS reserves the right to cancel your membership at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to; misconduct by a player that is abusive or detrimental to the success of the sport; physical conditions that may endanger themselves or others.
In consideration of participating in the STANS programs, related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that:

• I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation.

• I agree to receive communications from STANS

• Should there be photos taken at an event I hereby grant the releasee permission for STANS to use photographs in any of their: Web-based publications; Print Advertisements; Organization Bulletins
