Our Purpose
- enhance enjoyment of life and extend tennis participation of active senior tennis players
- promote active participation of senior tennis players who may not have partners, opponents, available facilities or club affiliation
- promote maximum use of existing tennis facilities, both indoor and outdoor, by senior tennis players under the most favourable terms possible.
We are grateful to the North Shore municipalities for their generous support allowing us reserved access to courts across the North Shore.

It is great to play up to three times a week inside at the North Vancouver Tennis Centre between October and April with fellow STANS players. There are 6-7 courts assigned from 7 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. most every weekday and I can play with other players of my calibre if I choose (Team Chester) or general play (Team A). Being new to North Vancouver ( from Ottawa) just a few months into the Covid outbreak, STANS proved to be invaluable to me allowing me to play tennis regularly and make new friends.
What a warm and welcoming group of players. I enjoyed playing with people of all levels and the drop in is great, especially for newbies like myself and those who don’t have a tennis partner.
